The aims of UFA
The association was founded in 1989. Its
aims are:
- to provide a network for members and
institutions
interested in improvements of occupational and
environmental health in developing countries
- to promote occupational and environmental
health as
a part of Swedish development cooperation
- to inform public agencies, media, and
organisations
about occupational and environmental health in developing countries
UFA is an independed and non-profit association. UFA is depending entirely on the ideas that are
contributed by its members. There are no employed officials to promote
the goals of UFA. Therefore, any initiatives of UFA have to be inspired
by its members. The working group is eager to receive proposals and feed-back
from the members. Input may be suggestions regarding new activities, subjects
to be discussed, articles contributions to be published in the newsletter,
proposals about liaisons with other organizations, information which should
be disseminated to all UFA members etc. Please, keep this in mind, give
it a thought and communicate the result to anyone in the working-group.
The reward will be a better UFA.
